Use the Propr expected value calculator to compare plans by the full path from challenge purchase to first payout. Adjust your trading assumptions, payout target, and payout buffer to estimate net EV, payout chance, and EV relative to challenge fee.

What is the Propr expected value calculator?+

The Propr expected value calculator is a challenge planning tool that estimates the value of a Propr plan after accounting for pass probability, funded payout outcomes, and challenge fee.

How does the expected value calculator work?+

The calculator runs the same challenge simulation used by the passing calculator and the same funded account simulation used by the payout calculator. It then subtracts the challenge fee from the challenge-adjusted payout value.

What assumptions does the calculator use?+

It uses win rate, average risk reward ratio, risk per trade as a percentage of account size, average trades per day, payout target, and payout buffer.

What does net EV mean?+

Net EV is the estimated first-payout value after subtracting the challenge fee. A positive estimate means the simulated payout value is higher than the cost of the plan.

What does EV per fee mean?+

EV per fee compares net expected value against the challenge fee. It helps compare plans with different prices, account sizes, and step types.

What does overall payout chance mean?+

Overall payout chance is the estimated probability of passing the challenge and then reaching the selected payout target in the funded account.

How should I use this calculator?+

Use it to compare account sizes, step types, fees, and payout assumptions. Review it alongside pass probability and payout estimates to understand the full path from challenge evaluation to withdrawal.

Is expected value guaranteed?+

No. Expected value is a planning estimate based on simulated paths and current plan data. It does not guarantee a Propr payout or future trading performance.
